The “Joy” of Monday’s Presentation is tempered by the reality that Mary’s heart will be pierced with a sword, signalling the difficult road that lay ahead for the beautiful newborn Savior. Luke 2:35. May we pray for the grace to fortify our faith and resolve even when the road is not easy.
