On “luminous” Thursdays, we pray and celebrate the centrality of marriage in God’s divine plan. Jesus chose to begin his public ministry and to perform his first miracle at a wedding, a celebration. John 2. In doing so, the message to us is clear: Lord, bless me with the vision and strength to treasure and cherish my marriage. May You (and Mary) be a central part of our marriage and our family. May You continue to perform Your miracles within and through our marriage.
