On “Joyful” Mondays, we pray that we find Jesus wherever He is presented to us. In the Rosary, we discover that Simeon lived a life open to seeing the Savior. With that disposition, He was rewarded to see our Savior face to face. If we live our life with that same pre-disposition- to see Jesus when He is presented to us- we will also be rewarded with a life full of God’s love. Lord, I pray for the grace to see as Simeon did- to see You. Despite the scales of my earthly existence and sinfulness, grant me a pure heart and clear vision to see You dwelling among us.
