Christmas week Mondays are always “Joyful”. In revisiting the Annunciation, Mary must have asked herself “is that shadow an angel?” Mary’s receptive heart and prayerful state permitted her to see and accept her role in salvation history. As we prepare for the arrival of Jesus, let Him find us in ceaseless prayer and with an open and loving heart.
