“Glorious” is the Wednesday honoring the Mother of Jesus, the Mother of God. As we pray today, we recognize Mary as the Immaculate Conception, the patroness of the United States and await the coming Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of the Americas. Blessed Mother, in all your many faces, I ask that you pray for us, your children, and for those who aspire to lead our great nations. Pray that wisdom and compassion move their actions and their hearts and not ego and rubris.
