On this Wednesday of Holy Week, we are reminded that Simon was nudged/urged/ coerced into carrying Jesus’ cross. As we consider ourselves being nudged/urged/coerced into helping others with their crosses, we have to conclude that Simon must have been impacted by the example of Jesus and His unjust suffering. May we be transformed and converted to a Christ-like life as we embrace our own cross and those of the Jesus in our neighbor.
