On Holy Week Tuesdays, we Sorrowfully remember the Scourging. In meditating upon the reality of the assault on our Savior, we confront the reality that despite the verbal and physical assault on Him, he persevered in His divinity. Lord Jesus Christ, despite the attacks to which I am subjected, I humbly pray for the grace to persevere in my desire for a holy life.
