I pray to also carry Jesus within me on this “Joyful” Monday. As I recall the infancy of the baby Jesus, the Gospel of Luke reminds me that Mary carried baby Jesus within her to visit her cousin Elizabeth, who was so struck by the visit that she proclaimed “Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.” Luke 1:45. I pray that I carry the love of Jesus Christ within me today and every day and that my “visits” fulfill his divine will and serve to inspire all those whom He place in my path. I pray that above all, His divine will be fulfilled….. Today, August 8th is the feast day of St. Dominic, the original recipient and saintly champion of the Rosary. Let us pray today for all those who inspire others to pray the Rosary as a path to Jesus- that they may always feel the love of Jesus and Mary and bequeath that joy to their loved ones.
