“Joyful” Mondays encourage a Marian heart. Mary’s heart was pure; she’d been consecrated to God and was thus open and receptive to God. When His messenger approached her, despite initial trepidation and uncertainty, she fully received and accepted the message. Lord, strengthen me to lead a pure and wholesome life so that my heart will always be receptive to receiving and hearing Your messages.
