Christmas week- We pray with Joy as we recall the dutiful and inspiring response of Mary to God’s call. In meditating upon Mary’s invitation to her role in salvation history, we pray that when God sends us His messenger, that our hearts are pure and receptive like Mary’s. Lord, I pray that through living a sacramental life and seeking you in all that I do, I live a life with a heart like Mary’s so that my heart can also serve as your Bethlehem and and I, too, can play my role in your story.
