“It was through the Blessed Virgin Mary that Jesus Christ came into the world and it is also through her that he must reign in it.” On “Joyful” Mondays, we are reminded of the significance of Mary’s role in salvation history. We face the reality that God would have created a special vessel by which to encounter humanity; a pure and holy vessel that would have been consecrated for God’s special purpose from her conception through her birth. “Hail Mary!”
