“Joyful” Mondays encourage us to remain open to the will of God in our lives. Mary’s purity, lively faith and life of ceaseless prayer prepared her to submit herself to God’s will even if she didn’t understand it. Luke 1: 38 (“Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”) Lord, you know that often I don’t understand the things that occur in my life. I pray though that I continue to remain open to accomplishing Your will through my life. Above all, Your will be done.
