“Joyful” Mondays cause us to re-visit the Visitation. Praying upon this mystery, we remember Mary reaching out to her older cousin, Elizabeth. Mary’s service to her cousin resulted in her becoming the First Evangelist because in serving others, Mary brought Jesus to Elizabeth, to John the Baptist, who leapt in his mother’s womb. Luke 1: 44. Life is service and service is life. Lord, grant me the grace to always serve others and in doing so, live as You would have me live.
