“Joyful” Mondays remind us of our highest and best goal in life. Simeon, the wise man in the Temple, was promised that he would see the Messiah before he died. When he did, his life was complete. Lord, I pray that I am not too occupied with the details of daily life, not too distracted by my petty selfishness to see Jesus in my family, my neighbors and even in me. Lord, grant me the grace and the vision to always see and feel You in my midst.
