On “Joyful” Mondays, we pray those familiar prayers, including the one that Jesus Christ Himself gave us when his disciples asked “teach us to pray.” Luke 11: 1. In praying this prayer, we pray WITH Jesus to the Almighty Father when we invoke “OUR Father.” Heavenly Father, we thank You today for the gift of the birth of Your Son and ask that You continue to forgive us our humanity. We pray, with Your son, that you lead us not into temptation but instead deliver us from evil. Amen.
