“Joyful” Saturdays remind us to prepare our lives for our own presentation to the Father. Mary and Joseph presented Jesus in the Temple according to Jewish custom and, in doing so, He was recognized by those touched by the Spirit. Lord, help me to end my sinfulness to that my life be lived only in accordance with God’s natural law so that when presented to the Father, I too may be recognized as a child of God.
