“Joyful” is the Saturday in which we celebrate the sanctity of the Holy Family and all of our holy families. Mary and Joseph nurtured, fed, and formed the child Jesus. They taught him to recognize the presence of God in His life, lessons that the child God would recognize and live. Lord, as I pray for my family today, I ask that I too nurture and feed them with most of all love, that they never hunger for my tenderness and that they be so formed in the image of Jesus Christ. I present them to you Lord, and ask for the intercession of St. Joseph and Our Blessed Mother, that I may be made worthy to raise and form these children for Your Kingdom.
