“Joyful” is the Saturday spent with Mary contemplating the conception and birth of Christ. Mary, with the newly conceived Jesus in her womb, visited her cousin Elizabeth – to help Elizabeth in her last months of pregnancy and to share the joy of the impossible but mostly, because those who carry life in their womb also carry Jesus. Mary took Jesus to Elizabeth and the future John the Baptist. Those who carry life like Mary evangelize the sancity of all life. Lord, as a husband and father, let me be the St. Joseph to my family- may my chaste life be devoted to protecting and providing for those who sanctify life.
