We recite the words from the Gospel of Luke recounting St. Elizabeth’s recognition of Mary’s role in salvation history: Blessed are you among women and blessed is fruit of thy womb.” Lord, please grant me a pure heart and a holy vision so that as I encounter my neighbors and family today, I only see as a saint would see and would see the fruit of your love in everyone.
