“Joyful” is the Christian whose prayers carry him to love more. As we meditate upon the birth of Christ, we are drawn to the reality that the divine became man in “his own image.” Thus, we are called to see God in everyone we encounter. Lord, I pray that I may see your birth in the neighbor whom I meet today and the loved one whose presence in my life I celebrate today. (Happy Valentine’s Day!)
