The “Light” of the Gospel illumines our journey on this Thursday. As we pray, we are invited to meditate upon the proclamation of the Kingdom by Jesus at the sermon on the Mount. He tells us: “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.” Matt. 5:8. Lord, I pray that with every Eucharist I receive, it will continue to cleanse my heart as it fortifies my character. Cleanse my heart to see not as the world sees but rather as You do. I pray that I may always see you.
