The “Light” of our Thursday stems from prayer as we meditate upon the Transfiguration of our Lord. “Rise and do not be afraid,” Jesus reassured those closest to Him, Peter, James and John. Matt. 17:7. Lord, at times, I too am afraid. Although I know that I am blessed in so many ways, I become concerned and anxious about things that face me here on this earth. Help me to be closer to you and always hear Your reassurance to “not be afraid.
