Meditating upon a miraculous wedding provides many lessons if we are blessed with the vision to see the the “Light” of His plan. Jesus performed his first public miracle at a wedding underscoring the importance of marriages in His divine plan and also reveals the special place of those who serve Him. John 2: 1-11. The miracle at the wedding at Cana would not have occurred if the servants hadn’t meticulously followed Jesus instructions. The servants, despite knowing what was needed was wine, filled the jars with water “to the brim.” John 2:7. Nothing less than full compliance with Jesus’ request; the wedding was saved and the miracle complete. Lord, as I pray for the miracles in my life, help me to always fully follow Your plan. May my life always reflect full and loving compliance with Your instructions.
