“Luminous” Thursdays find us in the spirit of celebration. Mary was concerned that the wedding gathering might be adversely affected and pointed it out to her son, Jesus. Jesus wants families to celebrate their shared history and, especially at this sacramental occasion, chose to perform His first miracle. When we invite Jesus and Mary into our families, Jesus performs His miracles for us.
