He gave us the gift of Himself. Not only through giving up His life through death on the cross but also in the gift of the sacrament of the Eucharist. On this “Luminous” Thursday, we prayerfully meditate upon that great gift. Lord, I pray for the gift of a pure heart into which I can invite Mary, the Mother of God, to reside within my heart so that she may occupy and squeeze out my sinful self. In that way, when I receive You in the Eucharist, Mother and Son may be reunited in the explosion of grace and love that you share with Her. May the grace of that communion sanctify, purify, and strengthen me to be all yours. To Jesus Through Mary.
