“Luminous” Thursdays remind us of the joy of the grace of living a sacramental life. Jesus submitted Himself to a baptism in part to be identified as the Son of God and in doing so, demonstrating for us His presence in our own baptism. Similarly, we pray upon and celebrate the institution of the Eucharist where Jesus becomes physically present for us. Jesus bridges eternity and our earthly life through the Sacraments. Lord, grant me the wisdom to accept the gift of Your presence through living a sacramental life.
