“Luminous” Thursday- Transfigure Me, O Lord

“Transfigure me, O Lord. Transfigure me, O Lord.” On this “Luminous” Thursday, we pray that we be transfigured in the image of Jesus Himself. Jesus invited his disciples to accompany him in prayer and in doing so, He was revealed as the Son of God. I pray today that despite the craziness and distractions of my schedule today, that I too, accept Jesus’ invitation to accompany Him in prayer. I pray, O Lord, that the scales of my earthly ignorance and sinfulness be removed so that You may be fully revealed to me……. On this beautiful “Luminous” day, treasure this hymn in your heart.
