“Luminous” Thursdays are revealing. We meditate upon the Transfiguration where Jesus’ identity is once again revealed. Matt. 17: 5. When revealed, the disciples became afraid and Jesus lovingly touched them saying “Rise, and do not be afraid.” Matt. 17: 6-8. Lord, in my weakness, let me not be afraid of embracing You when Your presence and goodness is revealed to me throughout this day. May my heart remain open for You to always touch and reassure me.
