David Lerma and the Prayer Warriors of South Texas
RMPTR is pleased to announce the first to be recognized as “Real Men of Mary” by recognizing “David Lerma and the Prayer Warriors of South Texas.”
These real men are promoting the Rosary directly to individuals and families in need of special healing. Every Tuesday and Thursday and the occasional emergency, David and the group gather at the home of families who have called and asked for their help because a family member is in need of physical or emotional healing. During those family visits, David and the group take the time to fully explain the Rosary and its prayers and meditations. Then, in the course of praying the Rosary with the people, David invites everyone to “lay hands” on those who have been indentified as in need of healing. The prayers then continue over the person. In the course of these healing services, many healing miracles have been reported. To some perhaps, the greatest miracle is that real men like David Lerma and the group love to pray the Rosary and invoke the intercession of our Blessed Mother.
David Lerma is known as “Animal” by his co-workers because of the burly bricklayer’s reputation for his legendary work ethic. David is a construction manager for a glass company but his work ethics is now devoted to serving the Lord and our Blessed Mother. The “Prayer Warriors” of South Texas include:. Carlos Ozuna is also a construction foreman and with all his heart, serves the Lord and his parish by leading and coordinating ACTS retreats. Art Reyna is a high school science teacher. Art brings his vaunted attention to detail and preparation to everything he does, including the healing Rosary. Tito Salinas is a law firm administrator and also a member of the Board of Directors of RMPTR, Inc. He also serves his parish as a member of the St. Joseph the Worker ACTS retreat core group and the Finance Council.
David and the Prayer Warriors of South Texas would love to pray with you and for you. You may contact them at david.lerma@spawglass.com.
