KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

            

English Track – David Calvillo is a nationally-known author and the founder of Real Men Pray the Rosary. David is an attorney-CPA with a practice in civil litigation and is a bilingual mediator.  He has directed ACTS retreats for his local chaper and is active in his parish.  David will discuss his experience and insights on praying the Rosary with his family, sharing both the obstacles and the joys.  David is frequently heard on Catholic Radio and will have a new book published this Spring by Ave Maria Press.  David and his wife, Valerie, are raising 7 children and home schooling the three elementary-school-age children.

Spanish Track – Dr. Jose Fermin is a professor of biology and science for the City of Providence Department of Education and has been a coordinator for Latin-American family Retreats at La Salette Retreat Centerfor the past six years.  Dr. Fermin is also a trained professional in te field of drug and alcohol rehabilitation.  Dr. Fermin will share his down-to-earth and practical insights on how families can share gifts and weaknesses, sorrows, and successes through study, prayer and service.  Dr. Fermin and his wife, Nelba, have been married for 40 years and have three children and four grandchildren.

Our Lenten Family Rosary Retreat is a time to come together to share your faith and pray as a family during the Lent of this Year of Faith.  It is a special opportunity to grow in the faith with inspiring keynotes, family activities, Eucharisitic Adorartion, Rosary prayer, and praise and worship music.  Families will also enjoy a screening of a new video release by our ministry on the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary.  Children will have the opportunity to participate in the Try Prayer! It Works! Contest, an artwork, poetry and essay contest in which nearly 50,000 children particpate annually.  Join us for this and much more as we strive to deepen the spiritual ties in your family.

MUSICIANS

Oscar Pozuelos, well-known past leader of Youth Explosion, and his band will perform lively Hispanic praise and worship music.
