“Sorrowful” Fridays permit us to visit our Lord’s Passion with his co-redemptrix. Mary’s unique maternal perspective of Jesus’ suffering remind us of the blind obedience to God’s will that characterizes Mary. May we also be granted the grace to humbly accept His will.
