“Sorrowful” Friday- A Mother’s Anguish. Mary’s Trust.

On “Sorrowful” Fridays, we pray our Rosary with Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Imagine the pain and anguish that a Mother must have felt to see her son tormented, humiliated and scourged at the hands of the cruelty of man. Let us resolve to aspire to Mary’s virtues of blind obedience and a lively faith to ardently love and trust wholly in God. Thank you Lord for the gift of Mary as a mold into which to pour ourselves.
