“Sorrowful” Fridays begin in conversation with the Father. Jesus sought the company of His Father when He faced extraordinary difficulty and thus taught us to follow the same path. Heavenly Father, as I face the difficult things that await me today, I invoke the name and example of Your son, Jesus, as my example and as my Savior. Please be with me, inspire me, strengthen me, sanctify and clarify me as I face those inevitable challenges today.
