As we sit at the school of Mary on this “Sorrowful” Friday, let us inquire of ourselves if we truly embrace the cross that Jesus has borne for us and the crosses that each of us possesses. May we empty ourselves of this world – die to this world’s concerns- and submit ourselves to embracing our crossess alongside Jesus. “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us…”
