“Sorrowful” Fridays transports our self-pity to the road to Calvary, where Jesus suffered unjustly at the ends of evil men. Yet Jesus in the face of that suffering and cruelty, forgave them. Luke 23:34. Lord, I ask today for the grace of Your strength so that in all things, I may forgive those who trespass against me and those I love. I pray Lord that you bring me in greater communion with Your abiding love.
