“Sorrowful” Fridays are filled with Christian hope. Our prayers and meditations transport us to the human drama of the Lord’s Passion and Crucifixion. Our Christian faith, however, tells us that despite the lessons of such suffering, we know how the story ends; we know that on the third day, love and mercy will conquer. Lord, wipe away my fear and questions with love and trust in your divine will. Fortify my Christian hope with Mary’s comfort and Your presence in my heart.
