From the Cross, on “Sorrowful” Fridays Jesus inspires forgiveness. “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.” Luke 23: 34. Father, forgive me for a life in which I have not strived for holiness. Forgive me as I forgive those who offend me. Grant me the grace to resolve from this day forward to live a life deserving of your mercy.
