“Sorrowful” is the Friday when we fail to achieve the peace He left us and died for. “Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you.” John 14; 27. Lord, as I look upon the circumstances of the world and those within my own world, I pray for the wisdom to accept your peace and “not let [my heart] be troubled or afraid.” John 14: 27. Grant me the grace to accept the gift and peace of Your cross.
