Jesus is scourged on this “Sorrowful” Friday by the sins of man but consoled by our desire to seek Him through prayer. Lord, I pray to raise my heart and mind to You. I pray that through Your grace, you make me worthy of Your promises. “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.”
