“Sorrowful” Fridays carry us into a prayer of mercy. As we pray this familiar journey that begins and ends with Jesus, along the way, we spend time with His Mother- our Mother. “Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy.” In this year of Mercy, we ask that our Lord make every day a day of Mercy. Mercy upon my sinfulness. Mercy upon those who do evil. Mercy upon those incapable or unwilling to show mercy. “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” Luke 23: 34.
