The Crucifixion of our Savior provides hope for all of us on this “Sorrowful” Friday. The Cross vividly demonstrates the extent of man’s inhumanity towards one another but more importantly reveals the extent and enduring promise of the Christian faith. God, through His Son Jesus, endured the cruelty and conquered death. His resurrection shows all of us that His love will overcome. We, too, shall overcome with Jesus in our hearts. Lord, please accompany me on this life journey, deepen my conversion, and bring me into eternal communion with You.
