“Sorrowful” Fridays remind us that the ultimate joy of the Christian faith awaits at the end of a weighty cross. During our lives, we often bear the cross of failed relationships, health issues, financial worries and many other hefty concerns. Jesus bore His Cross with dignity and grace knowing that He did so on our behalf and with the knowledge and trust in the Father’s plan. Lord, today I pray that You grant me the strength and the grace to trust in the ultimate joy of the Father’s divine plan.
