“Sorrowful” Fridays remind us to pray through our doubts. Only Jesus knew what He and the Father shared in that prayer garden at Gethsemane on that very Holy Thursday. Maybe He had doubts about direction or maybe He was simply scared of the suffering that was to follow. In either event, His example was the strongest message: When in doubt, pray.
