“Sorrowful” Fridays transport our prayers to the heart of Jesus’ Passion and Crucifixion itself. Our Lord invited His closest friends to accompany Him as He engaged in prayer with His Father but they could not stay attentive. Lord, I pray that I fully accept Your invitations and that I live a life attentive to what is asked of me. May mine not be a faith that falls asleep but rather be the lively faith to which we are called to live.
