On “Sorrowful” Fridays, we pray with Jesus by our side. He invited His closest friends to pray with Him at his favorite prayer garden. Matt. 26: 3646. Although they fell asleep while He prayed, He will never fall asleep on us. Lord, keep me vigilant; keep me focused on prayer as the way to stay connected with You. Guide me to a life of ceaseless prayer. 1 Thess. 5: 16-18.
