“Sorrowful” Fridays permit us to consider the Lord’s Passion and Crucifixion. The Lord’s physical suffering to demonstrate His love for us is a vivid reminder to avoid sin, especially sins of the flesh. May our life today not be a crown of thorns on our Lord but rather a crown of roses, prayers to order our lives and assuage His suffering for us.
