“Sorrowful” Fridays inspire our Lenten sacrifices. Our Lord endured human suffering and yet he endured with dignity and with faith in the Father’s plan. Lord, as we undertake our fasts, our self- denial, our small sacrifices in the name of preparation for Easter joy, let us look to Mary – as Jesus did in the midst of His suffering- for reassurance that the Father’s path is the only path.
