“Sorrowful” Rosary Fridays teach us perseverance through prayer. Jesus began his journey through His Passion and Crucifixion by seeking his Father in prayer. He then suffered and enduring teaching us in the meantime that through prayer, we can also gain strength and learn to persevere with God’s support. Lord, in the face of my crosses, grant me the grace of strength to persevere as I grasp and pray my Rosary today.
