“Sorrowful” Tuesdays transport our prayers to our Lord’s Passion and Crucifixion. As we meditate upon the approaching culmination of His mission, we are reminded that Christians are hopeful and hope-filled people. We know how the story ends. We know that despite the horrific death to which He submitted Himself, death is conquered and He is risen. Lord, fill my heart with Christian hope- that no matter the trials or troubles of this world, the Christian faith perseveres and triumphs. Help me Lord to look past the trials to how the story ends- in eternal communion with You.
