“Sorrowful” Fridays inspire us to pray with perseverance. The Rosary teaches perseverance in prayer. Although Jesus’ friends fell asleep after an hour, Jesus persevered in conversation with the Father. Praying the Rosary daily trains us to visit regularly with Mary and Jesus. We reveal who we are through with whom we spend time. Lord, grant me the grace to spend time more time with you in prayer – through my Rosary and in life’s moments lingering thereafter.
